  • No, AirportNEXT is not a passenger assessment tool. Data is not collected from passengers going through the airport, but from a diverse group of 16 key stakeholders associated with the airport.

  • AirportNEXT can help by assisting in fine-tuning the strategic priorities for the airport, improving engagement and support of key stakeholders, and strengthening advocacy efforts with all levels of government.

  • The model is separated into two key success drivers, Infrastructure & Facilities, and Stakeholder Alignment, each with six variables. For Infrastructure & Facilities these are; Terminal, Commercial Services, Security, Border, Transportation Access, and Technology. For Stakeholder Alignment these are; Air Service, Government Support, Workforce & Culture, Community Support, Economic Development & Tourism, and Sustainability.

  • A comprehensive, 150 slide report showing scenario model plots, variable scores, stakeholder comparisons, and 200 ranking metrics comparing the airport to both the industry and its tier group. As well, presentation(s) or a workshop to present results to an audience of the airport’s choice, that includes recommended best practices.

  • AirportNEXT only requires one person of contact at the Airport. Over the course of 8 weeks, this person will need to allocate 2-3 days to focus on the airport’s stakeholder distribution strategy, with guidance and assistance from AirportNEXT. It is helpful if this person has knowledge of the Airport’s contacts database, marketing channels, or customer relationship management (CRM) software.

  • Yes, and the airport has complete control over who views their results and report. Once the report is ready, AirportNEXT will arrange a call with the airport's person of contact and CEO to take them through the report, and will not disclose their report to anyone else including third parties. This excludes the top performing airports in each of the 12 variables as awards are given out. Aggregated industry and tier data is shared with other airports for comparative benchmarks, and with both ACI-NA and the CAC for industry advocacy.

  • Yes, these are only for your specific airport, and can be in any question format.

  • A comprehensive guide on contacting stakeholders is supplied. This guide lists general survey distribution advice, as well as gives examples and contacting tips for each separate stakeholder. The general contacting advice is for the airport to form a list of their stakeholder leaders to email the survey link to, and have the leaders forward it to their teams/divisions. Each respondent selects which stakeholder group they belong to in the survey, so every stakeholder receives the same survey link.

  • Pricing is based on airport size by the number of enplaned/deplaned passengers, and there are three pricing options offered: 1) A one time assessment. 2) A four year program, where two assessments are done, and each assessment fee is spread out over two years. 3) A multi-year program, where an airport confirms 2 or more assessments and is given a 20% discount.
