Airports Council International – North America announces new AirportNEXT program
ACI-NA has formally announced AirportNEXT, a new program for its members, at their Annual Conference and Exhibition in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Kevin Burke, President and CEO, ACI-NA, said “AirportNEXT is a new, dynamic tool for airports to assess and improve stakeholder alignment and support. We are delighted to be partnering with AirportNEXT Solutions Inc. to deliver this program.”
The program was developed by AirportNEXT Solutions Inc. During the past six months, 24 airports across the US and Canada participated in a pilot project to validate the program and create the initial data base of stakeholder sentiment about airports.
Tom Ruth, President, AirportNEXT Solutions Inc. said “We are extremely grateful to ACI-NA and the airports which have contributed to the pilot project. The ACI-NA team and Airport Steering Committee have provided valuable information to finalize our comprehensive model and survey designed to assess airports.”
The Executive Vice President of ACI-NA, Matt Cornelius, said “We believe AirportNEXT will deliver several major benefits to our airport members, including: assisting in fine tuning the strategic priorities for an airport; improving engagement and support of key stakeholders; and strengthening advocacy efforts with all levels of government.”
Feedback from the pilot project has been very positive. Many of the airports have already expressed their intent to commit to the program on a multi-year basis.
Paul Ouimet, Chairman, AirportNEXT Solutions Inc. said “ACI-NA has been a wonderful partner to work with in developing and rolling out this program. We look forward to a long relationship with this great organization and hope that we will be able to help many airports around the world.”
