The AirportNEXT pilot project is complete
ANSI has now completed the pilot project with the 24 airports. The Steering Committee made up of these pilot airports contributed over 100 comments on the stakeholder survey, which lead to many changes to help sculpt the survey to critically analyze each important area.
Following closing the surveys, the pilot airports were delivered their AirportNEXT Report in a virtual results call. Every airport had expected results in areas they were high or low in, which has helped solidify their beliefs onto paper, and hopefully will strengthen their advocacy efforts in the future. Additionally, there were various surprises, resulting in key learning areas from different opinions coming from the 16 stakeholder categories.
Overall, ANSI, ACI-NA, and the 24 pilot airports are are extremely happy with the outcome of this pilot project, and looking forward to further developments in the program.
